It has been 7 months since you departed this world and I still feel you in every place I go,
I feel you in the wind as the leaves change and the winter begins to make the world begin to glow,
I sense you in the butterflies as they fly across the sky,
Every time a butterfly lands near me, I can't help but feel tears prick my eyes,
You taught me so many things about how to become the person I am today,
I talk to you often and never run out of things to say,
Though you are in Heaven and your suffering has come to an end,
You will forever remain my confidante and best friend,
You will never leave my heart and I know you are never far away,
You are my angel and I look forward to reuniting with you one day!
